Mexico- The Pool

Although the beach saw a bit more action than the pool, the pool wasn't so bad either. We spent a ton of time swimming, playing cards, lounging, reading, getting drinks at the swim-up bar... it was a pretty rough week ;-)

We went with our good friends The Kitcheners (Chris, Ali, Will and Charlie) and The Warrens (Chad, Liz, Lilly and Henry)  Kids galore.  There was always someone to play or fight with! 

 Benjamin, in particular, loved the swim up bar... or maybe he just loved the sweet drinks.

Mexico- The Beach

In Mid November we headed to the white sandy beaches of Cancun, Mexico. This was our first view of the beach and ocean out our window of the hotel

 The beach was perfect.  Tons of white sand and the water was shallow for 100 yards. The kids spent endless hours playing on the sand and in the water.

Ali, Liz and I went for a nice kayak trip around the in the ocean.

Benjamin - Preschool

Benjamin's final year of preschool has been going so well.  He has made many friends, is thriving and will be well prepared for kindergarten next year.  Co-op preschool has been one of the best parenting decisions that we have made.  Eight consecutive years of this program has helped each one of us.

 And then hoofed it up the hill .5 miles to deliver to the West Seattle Food Bank

 They also went on a field trip to Camp Long and went on a nature hunt.

There is also a ton of time for playing and dress up
