Avacado, Banana, Soccer Games and Preschool

There were a lot of firsts in our house the past couple weeks.

Josie had her first day of her new class at co-op preschool. Freshly back from Hawaii, she insisted on wearing her new Local Motion Hawaiian t-shirt.

Benjamin had his first taste of avocado.

A few days later, he tried banana for the first time.

Josie had her first soccer game. Her first game was her second experience with soccer. She did really pretty well for virtually no experience with the sport or "sport" in general. It is funny, being a good player means doing everything opposite to what she has been told the past 4 years - steal the ball from others, push your way to the ball, don't wait your turn, etc. Kind of funny to see her process it all. At this point she is still just kind of following the crowd and running toward the ball. It will be interesting to see how she does by the end of the season.
