Thanksgiving Part 1

We thoroughly enjoyed our double Thanksgiving this year. Our first celebration was at Liz's house up in Snohomish. We were only asked to bring rolls, fruit salad and Oma and Opa... really, it is the same as every year but each and every time it is such a treat to enjoy the delicious meal without having to lift a finger. Thank you, Liz!!

After dinner we had our annual Julklapp (apparently this is Swedish for "gift" but my German family does this every year) We wrap up gifts over and over again with different people's names on it each time. The last name that is on the gift before unveiling the actual gift is who the gift belongs to. With two small kids who enjoy unwrapping more than the gifts themselves, this is a huge hit!!)
