Auntie Kim Visit and Salty's Brunch

My sister Kim called one day in early November and said, "hey can I come down this weekend?  I just need to make someone a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and maybe play some games or do some puzzles."  Her kids are 18 and 16.  Obviously at a very different stage of mothering than I am currently.  Marty and I already had a sitter to attend the Southwest Seattle Historical Society Brunch.  Marty was MC'ing the event and so I invited her to join us but she said... no, actually I'd rather just hang out with your kids.  The decision was an easy one.  We called off the sitter and the kids had a fabulous day with Kim around the house and at the park.  I wish we lived closer!!
They spent a lot of time building a squirrel house

And playing in the fall leaves

Marty and Jodi were the MC's for the event and the panel consisted of other people who love West Seattle, including Chris Ballew (Caspar Babypants/PUSA) and other
Marty, Jodi, Chris and his wife, Kate.

How fun brunch party! Sounds like everyone had a blasting time at Salty's bash. At San Francisco event venues I also hosted family brunch on last Sunday and it turned out to be most enjoyable event. We had brilliant time playing games and talking in this bash.
