Marty, Benjamin and I had gone this Templehofer Feld back at the
end of August when Josie was already in school and we were waiting for Benjamin to either get accepted or to be let in.... I often think fondly back on this time when Benjamin was the only one home and we spent days at the zoo, parks and riding our bikes. All of our back to school attention was on Josie since she had two solo weeks of school before Benjamin started. I know during that time I was so incredibly stressed about 1) getting Benjamin actually accepted and into JFK and 2)
really needing a break since we had all 4 been together 24/7 for over a month. But, it is funny how when you look back you can mostly just see the positive.
Anyway, we thought going back to Templehofer Feld
would be a fun thing to do with the Kitcheners. We borrowed a friend's son's bike for Charlie. Josie used her roller blades. Will borrowed Josie's bike and Chris
used mine (yes, it was way too small and Josie's bike was too big for Will but they made the best of it) Ali and I just walked and got a good 20,000 steps in that day.
After biking around and transporting with bikes and blades back
and forth we headed to ice cream (again) to celebrate then to a fun park and then a final dinner with friends at our favorite Indian restaurant. FUN, fun time with friends.
Thanks for making the trek over to Berlin, Kitcheners. Can't wait for our (hopefully) upcoming adventure in October 😊
