At the end of December Marty signed off the radio at KMTT after 15 years there and Jodi organized a going away party for him at a local bar. His leaving was covered in our local paper.
It was a long time coming and was such a good decision for him to call it quits there. His first 10 or so years there were probably some of the best he spent in radio and he had loved it there. The last 5 were very, very rough and rocky which included being fired and rehired. He as many other things keeping him busy these days and some are even paying jobs :)
One of his latest accomplishments has been a documentary film that he and his good friend Michael made based on Marty's high school documentary "The Digital Blackout" and Michael's article "Sleeping with Siri" Here is the trailer for the film.

The film has been accepted into several film festivals across the country including: Palm Springs, AZ, Palm Beach, FL, New Orleans, LA, Seattle and they are waiting to hear back from 14 other film festivals. Their work may even be featured on an upcoming Katie Couric show in the spring.... stay tuned.
