Another local gem is Colman Pool down in Lincoln Park. The saltwater pool right on the edge of park overlooking the water and the ferries and Vashon Island is really quite spectacular. We spent several very fun afternoons here this summer. I would typically get to lap swim either before or after the open swim and we were all very happy. The kids had a blast with Lilly and Henry swimming and splashing around.

One particularly fun evening at Colman pool came at the end of the season. we met up with Lilly, Henry, Liz and Chad. While the kids played with the dads, Liz and I swam laps. We all played for awhile and then headed to Kokoras for yummy Greek food.

As I type this in early December I can honestly say, I miss those long, warm, summer days!!
