These two were so cute together! They were constantly cracking each other up.. and me.
Because the power supply to the Xbox went bonkers Marty ordered a new European one off of Ebay and it was scheduled to be delivered today. These two spent a lot of time out in front of the house waiting for it to show up. And, boy, when it did there were 3 VERY happy boys. Marty included!! Marty not so much because he likes to play the Xbox but because this was our first time ordering anything and didn't know how efficient the delivery services would be. We shouldn't have worried. He ordered on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday!
I made them all lunch and they spent some after lunch time playing the Xbox together. The girls liked to watch from the couch and coach their younger brothers.
Marty did his radio show and then we went out to eat for dinner. My favorite food here is döners kebap. They are Turkish and very similar to a Greek gyro. So SO good and so very cheap. You can either put regular gyro meat or falafel on a bread that is a mix between a pita or focaccia bread. There is a sauce that is a mix between thousand island dressing and garlic or tzatziki sauce along with chopped cabbage, lettuce and tomatoes. We all split 3 döner between the 4 of us and even had half of one to take home. They are HUGE. And we all had a drink. All of this for 17 €. Then we walked a bit up the way for "the best ice cream in Zehlendorf"
And for another 4€ we all had ice cream. Full dinner, drinks and dessert for 21 €!! Feeling very food satisfied today.
My family is tired of me taking photos so I have had to resort to taking them of their backsides.
When we got home Benjamin received a post card from his best buddy, Callum.
Between the Xbox delivery and the postcard he was on cloud 9. We would have all bee on cloud 10 if we had heard anything from JFK but alas, we did not!!!
