We decided to celebrate the end of week #1 for Benjamin and week #3 for Josie by letting Benjamin pick a restaurant for the night. No surprises here! Of course, he chose his newly favorite Indian restaurant. We all felt rather celebratory that night despite the rain and fall-like conditions. Have a mentioned how much I hate this transition from Summer to Fall? It seems that it happens more drastically here than in Seattle. There is still decent weather in the forecast but the wind has kicked up, the leaves are starting to turn color and fall (as well as sizable nuts!) and on Friday the rain was misty all day.
Even Marty ordered himself a beer. I'm having trouble finding beer that I love here. I like it all and will drink it but I don't love it like I did in Seattle. It doesn't seem as hoppy or as flavorful. I also don't like the tall skinny glasses that the Hefeweizen comes in even though I like the taste of it better than the berliner pilsner. The pilsner comes in the traditional beer steins which I prefer. I know... first world problems.
Dinner was delicious.
We were all in great moods and laughed and laughed and laughed. Then they brought us all a mango digestiv and we all toasted each feeling pleased about the week past.
